No; your preference: Before our college football games ( and practices ) players stretch actively or dynamically... And some players have an assistant athletic trainer or a massage therapist who works w/ our team work on passive or static stretching in addition. Most of the time these particular players need a bit more stretching for tight hamstrings, adductors or whatever. Have someone familiar w/ your'tight' muscles.
