What is the difference between the vicks ultrasonic, cool mist, and warm mist humidifiers?

Heat/danger: Warm mist producers are basically over sized coffee warmers that rely on decades old technology & could burn your house down. I haven't recommended one, ever. The ultrasonic systems use a vibrating tuning fork to generate the mist. It is safe & effective.
