You probably need ..: A dehumidifier rather!! For environmental control, as you may have allergy triggers that thrive in humidity. You can still humidify your upper airways with saline nasal washes and salt water gargles, till you see your doctor or an allergist to sort your chronic problem out, check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist in your area, good luck
