A member asked:

How long after starting to use an acne medication will it start to take effect?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Less than two weeks: This has been my experience. Over-the-counter stuff seldom helps much. With today's prescription meds -- the biggest guns are available only to dermatologists -- no one need has problems with this troublesome condition.
