What are some oral medications to take for acne?

Antibiotics, accutane: Antibiotics are often used to treat acne. Tetracycline, minocycline, dand Doxycycline have been used for decades in the treatment of acne. In resistant cases dermatologists will use other snitbiotics .If antibiotics fail accutane, a vitamin derivitative drug is used but must be carefully monitored to prevent birth defects and other potential side effects by a doctor registered to use accutane.

Oral medications: For acne would either be antibiotics (doxycycline, tetracycline, etc.) or accutane. Most of the rest of acne treatment is done with topical (externally applied) agents. See your local dermatologist for an evaluation to see if you even really need oral medications.
