A member asked:

Is there any way to take care of a child's acne without using medications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: It depends on the type of acne. Simple blackheads and whiteheads can often respond well to otc washes. At the other extreme is severe nodulocystic acne which generally requires accutane. In between there are a lot of options but if you want the best results prescription medications are often your best bet. Your dermatologist can help answer your questions.
