Same as a bridge : It depends on your location, as fees vary around the country, but the fee is usually close to the fee for a 3 unit bridge that would replace one missing tooth, maybe a little more.

Pre-estimate: Ball park figure. The surgical placement of dental implant about $2, 000.00 and the custom abutment including the crowm about $1, 700. Approx total $3, 700. Per tooth. This would be in the upstate new york area. As you get closer to the big cities, it could be more. Radiographs/exam/prophlaxis(cleaning) is additional.

Quality is key: It depends on your quality orientation. A great implant team is very thorough, takes x-rays and has a cat scan done to see all of the areas involved, determine the bone level, sinus location and measure everything out precisely. There are different types and qualities of implants and bone grafting material. Sometime a sinus lift is necessary prior to an implant. $5, 000 +/-.

$2700-4000: There are typically 4 components to a dental implant: the implant, abutment (post), screw that holds the abutment into the implant, and the crown. Specialists tend to have a higher fee for the implant part (>$2k), leaving the rest to the restorative dentist, anywhere from 1500-2000. If the restorative dentist places the implant, they may often charge a lesser fee to keep from referring.

3-4 thousand: There are several factors that influence the cost of replacing a missing tooth with a dental implant, abutment and crown. Specialist will generally charge more and work in conjunction with a restorative dentist. 6% of dentist both place and restore dental implants and can usually provide the service with less expense.

$4000 to $7500: Depending on your dental situation, the location of the missing tooth or teeth, the need for bone and/or soft tissue grafting, the need for a cone beam or ct x-ray, the need for a custom abutment and where you live determine the costs for an implant, abutment and crown.

Varies.: Much is geographical. In your area i would suspect less than in nyc. Average seems to be about $4, 000, for the surgical placement of the implant in bone and the crown placed on top of it. In nyc that figure might be $ 6 - 7, 000.

Up to $5,000: "usual rates", nation-wide, are up to $2, 500 for the dental implant and an additional $2, 500 for the post (abutment) and crown. Of course, the total could be less than that.

3 tooth bridge: Usually the complete cost of an implant if it is not complicated should be about the cost of a three unit bridge.
