Resistance training: In men and women, resistance training (lifting weights) will build muscles....More in men than women. Stronger muscles tend to burn more calories that weaker muscles even when you are not using them...That helps reduce fat. Lifting with proper form to the point of momentary failure seems to be the best way to get the muscles to respond.

Depends: Exercise is essential to gain muscle mass. Weight training may be better. However, some people are not genetically equipped to add much muscle mass, no matter how much they exercise. Maintain protein intake of about one gram or more/kg of body weight.

See below: The rule of thumb is that you need between 1 and 1.5 times your body weight (if you are overweight, then substitute your target body weight) in grams of complete protein. Complete proteins are eggs, meat, fish, cheese and milk. This will work better than incomplete protein, i.e. Soy or plant based. Include more carbs at breakfast and eat healthy fats. Don't skip meals and drink plenty of water.

Three major ways!: 1. Intense resistance activity. 2 regular exercise, 4-5 x /week! 3. Adequate intake of protein, 0.9 gram per pound of body weight. Adequate hydration essential!
