A member asked:

What can be some hardships with paraplegia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: People with paraplegia face difficulties with mobility and often need wheelchairs to get around. They can suffer from spasms of their legs as well as pain(not everyone). They can have problems feeling their legs which make them susceptible to pressure sores. Some people can have problems with sexual and bowel and bladder problems. Psychological problems like depression are not uncommon.
