No: Fruit juice, fruit extract, cane sugar, beet sugar, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup honey, agave nectar, barley syrup, etc, . Are all simple sugar sources. Whether they contain dextrose (glucose), fructose, sucrose (mixture of glucose and fructose), other, they all react pretty similarly. Whole fruit has fiber which modifies the response to the sugar.
