Depends.: It has been argued that fructose which is found in many fruits is better than glucose. Maybe, but not much. Bananas have virtually no fructose but are loaded with starch and glucose. Grapes-straight glucose. What is good about fruits is there anti-oxidant property, fiber and vitamins. Now, if we did not intentionally grow fruits with lower sugar content, everyone would benefit.
