Ear infection: You can try using children's advil (ibuprofen) for the pain. If it is not improving or having a fever or other symptoms, please see your pcp or urgent care.

@ approaches: Some will resolve spontaneously. For those that do not in a few days, antibiotics are necessary.There is a current study demonstrating that the symptoms of ear infections , such as pain, improve with proper antibiotics.
