Depends on child: Ear infections are not contagious between children, but the viral sneezes and sniffles that are commonly associated with ear infections are. If your child no longer has a fever and is acting normally, then they are fine to go to school.

Why keep out ?: Unless your school has a restriction on fever or the kid is too sickly to benefit, there is no reason a kid with a simple ear infection should be kept out of school. If they are fever free and can sit still to watch their favorite TV show they can go to school.
