How do i treat an ear infection on a 3 yr old child?

Office confirm/rx: Ear discomfort can be caused by sterile fluid, a viral or bacterial infection in the middle ear, a canal infection. or referred tooth pain. You need to have the source sorted out. Once this is done the proper treatment can be started. This varies from nothing to oral antibiotics to ear drops. The only correct Rx is the one defined by exam.
