How can i get treatment for a pinched nerve?

See below: Depends on which nerve, how long it's bothered you and how severe your symptoms are. In general, if conservative management with physical therapy fails and your condition is good enough to consider surgery, nerve release may be an option. Membrane stabilizing medications and nerve stimulators can also be effective in select cases. Neurologists and neurosurgeons are the experts for this issue.

Pinched nerve : Most physicians are capable of suggesting treatment for radiculopathy (shooting pains from pinched nerve). Lumbar pain is called sciatica. If not getting worse, associated with abnormal bowel or bladder function, or severe pain, a quick exam and history can often lead to the correct diagnosis. Orthopedic and neurosurgical specialists can determine if surgery is necessary.
