A member asked:

What are the most common uses of mri scans?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Several: Brain, lumbar spine, cervical spine, knee and shoulder are probably the most widely used MRI scans. However, there are many more uses including liver, biliary/pancreatic ducts (called mrcp), small bowel (mr enterography), breast and prostate scans. There is even fetal mri.
