Schizo: Schizophrenia is thought disorder, schizoaffective is both disorganized thoughts with affective component not meeting criteria of bipolar disorder.

Both illnesses: Are "full blown" illnesses! in schizophrenia, psychotic symptoms a predominate. In schizoaffective disorder, both mood and psychotic symptom predominate.
