A member asked:

Why does my bones hurt so badly, after chemo, is there any relief?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Treatment?: This depends on the drugs. Such symptoms are often caused by neulasta (pegfilgrastim). This drug makes the bone marrow work overtime and causes local inflammation inside the bone, causing pain. Pain medications are the best choice. Some patients may not require this drug, so ask your doctor. There are other kinds of chemo that can do the same, but i can't help without more info.
