Usually not: The treatment of bone sarcomas depends on the specific diagnosis like ewing sarcoma, osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma etc. Conventional osteosarcoma is generally standard treated with chemotherapy and surgical resection of the tumor. Ewing sarcoma is also treated with chemotherapy, surgery and/or radiation to the tumor. Chemotherapy is usually not sufficient unless diagnosis is lymphoma or myeloma.
