A member asked:

What is done for cancer of the breast with calcifications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Calcifications do not change the treatment of cancer. Finding them on a mammogram or other imaging study can lead to the right diagnosis (not always cancer btw). The real treatment depends on what is found on biopsy and other studies.
