Ice and rest: Swelling is very common after skin cancer surgery especially on the face. An ice pack to the area may help with swelling. Sleeping on an extra pillow at night helps too. If the swelling is out of the ordinary, see you surgeon, as it may be a sign of something else, like hematoma or blood collection under the skin. Rest assure most swelling will improve 1-2 weeks after surgery.
