Reassurance/Patience: I would refrain from any mandates, forcing or trickery in getting a child to eat foods they don't like. Present foods that smell good, look good and that other eat. Openly discuss how much each of you like the food you are eating and just make it available. Offer foods in alternative ways. Get their friends who like the food to offer it up as "good". They usually have more clout! patience!
