Seek Consultation: Daily asthma attacks are labeled as "uncontrolled". This is very important. Please contact a local internist or pulmonary specialist. Medications will need to be started or adjusted. Also, environmental triggers should be investigated: pet dander, dust, smoke, pollen, etc. She may need nebulizer treatments or be placed on a mild steroid regimine. Consider an air purifier. Dont wait with asthma!

An asthma action plan with a well thought out medication regimen that tries to avoid oral steroids, yet control the asthma is possible. Monitoring and adjusting medications is necessary.
