Yes: Actually, the most important one is a b vitamin called thiamine, or vitamin b 1. That being said, taking a vitamin does not make up for poor overall nutrition. Thiamine can prevent problems caused by a deficiency of thiamine called wernicke-korsakoff syndrome, which is rare and also irreversible. Thus, once you have it, it does not go away. The syndrome causes severe short term memory problems.
