Finned fish: Most people who are shellfish allergic can eat finned fish (salmon, tuna, cod, etc) without a problem. You may be able to eat mollusks (clams, squid, octopus). For both, you should check with your doctor, as some testing can be helpful to make these recommendations specifically for you, and specific recommendations vary depending on how severe your reaction was and your test results.

Any except shellfish: Do not eat any crab, lobster, shrimp or crayfish. You may eat fish such as cod, snapper, grouper, tuna or salmon. All shellfish cross react, so they are all off limits.
