Shell less fish: Examples of fish or seafood that you could eat: tuna, salmon, herring, all other types of fish with scales. Avoid seafood that has shells or hard cases: oyster, clam, lobster, shrimp.

Yes: About 10-15% of people who are shellfish allergic (shrimp, lobster, etc) are also clinically sensitive to mollusks (clams, squid(calamari), octopus). Ask your allergist before introducing mollusks to your diet.

Epinephrine: For severe shellfish allergy, only injectable Epinephrine for reactions is a reliable treatment. Some people with very mild allergies can use antihistamines alone, but everyone should have Epinephrine available. Unfortunately, there are no drugs that will prevent or resolve a food allergy so you can eat the food without risk, although this is an active area of research.
