Improvement: Rhinoplasty surgery enables significant improvements in symmetry. Achieving nearly perfect symmetry, however, is difficult and is the exception rather than the rule. This is especially true if the nose is very asymmetrical, if there are coexisting asymmetries of the mid face or maxilla, if significant trauma and scarring have occurred previously and other reasons.

Nose Job: Yes, a properly performed rhinoplasty can restore symmetry to an off center nose. It is important to realize, though, that our faces are not symmetrical and most people have significant differences between one side of the face and the other.

Depends on your face: Rhinoplasty can straighten a crooked nose. However, if your facial bones are asymmetric your asymmetric nose may be straight- for your face. I would recommend consulting with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon to evaluate your nose and face and get a definitive answer. Good luck!

Yes: Repairing a crooked nose is a common reason for rhinoplasty. Yet it is difficult to keep a crooked nose perfectly straight.
