Is there medical data to substantiate the fact that acupuncture could improve the chances of success in ivf treatments?

Convincing? No: Simply put 'no.' there are only a few studies, of limited size but fair quality, that 'seem to support an association' with ivf outcomes, but those data are very limited and not completely consistent. I tell patients future work might uncover a true benefit, but at this point nothing is terribly convincing.

No: There is no good data. Overall the data show no benefit. But studying acupuncture is very difficult it is nearly impossible to determine what constitutes a control group (no acupuncture, correct sites but wrong pressure, correct pressure wrong sites, etc). That being said there is no known harm and could benefit some patients.

Mixed Studies: Studies are mixed regarding if acupuncture improves success rates. It does help to elliviate stress which may be beneficial though.
