A member asked:

Is the acupuncture treatment needed daily for body pains and other health problems?

No: Acupuncture is usually given in a series of treatments with increasing intervals between them. Occasionally for severe pain a daily treatment can be given up to 10 treatments or so, but not for maintenance. Once you are feeling better you may need periodic treatments to maintain your benefit.

No: Excellent response by dr. Rossman. Most medical problems do not require daily treatments. There are some procedures which should not be repeated on a daily basis. If there is an acute injury with the need to heal quickly - daily acupuncture sessions may be the answer (but this is short-term).
