A suggestion: I would respecfully suggest that a better specialist to see would be a board-certified plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon. While some dermatologists may perform scar treatments and revisions, they are not surgeons. Scar revisions are a standard part of the repertoire of the surgeons above, and they are equipped to deal with the complications of the treatment if any occur.
