What are the effects of taking two epi-pens?

Probably minimal: Patients who are allergic to foods or insect stings should carry self-injectable Epinephrine (such as epipen (epinephrine)) to treat severe reactions. Along with the desired effects, some patients experience a nervous feeling, palpitations, and headache with epi, especially if it has to be taken twice. Let your doctor know if you have heart disease, thyroid problems, or if you are pregnant before using epipen (epinephrine).

Epi x 2: Agitation, jitters, feeling weak, pallor (pale skin), emesis, diarrhea, etc. But if you are anaphylaxing, there is nothing else to give or use. Only epi will save your life. We give twin paks because many people require a 2nd dose. Epinephrine only lasts 30 minutes after being given. Give 1st dose and call 911.
