EpiPen (epinephrine): Epipen (epinephrine) auto-injectors should only be injected into the anterolateral aspect of the thigh. Do not inject into buttock, or intravenously. Injecting into a blood stream could have fatal consequences, it can cause changes to the heart rythym that could cause cardiac arrest.
