A doctor has provided 1 answer

Seek evaluation: If your depression is causing distress you should seek an evaluation from a mental health professional, either a psychologist, psychiatrist, or clinical social worker. The evaluation should help determine the nature and extent of the depression and point a path toward the treatment of it.
