A member asked:

Will kidney donors have to take medicine for the rest of their life?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Kidney donors are not required to take medicine indefinitely. If the donor requires medicine for other reasons they will still have to take it. We usually make sure they avoid medications that could affect their remaining kidney.
