Is it possible to have addison's disease and not take steroids?

Not by definition: Individuals with addison's have specific findings based on their being "hypoadrenal." this usually combines decreased cortisol production and decreased aldosterone production. To correct the problem you need to be on steroid therapy, unless your DX is presumptive or tenuous.
