Not Really: I am going to avoid the controversy over bio-identical hormones, it is not a term accepted by the general medical community. Steroids are necessary for survival in Addison's. Why can't you take steroids? Some people are intolerant to older rec high doses, a particular steroid or filler. An experienced doc is essential! You may tol a diff brand. Lastly a doc can order a compounded steroid for you.
