Your Physician: Your most effective anti-anxiety medications will required a prescription after an evaluation. It is very important for you to work with your physician to understand if the source of your anxiety is chemical, environmental or psychological. Each area may need a different treatment.

Let's see?: These meds are prescribed for the most part. There may be some homeopathic meds but i will stick to allopathy. A family physician, internest, psychiatrist or general physician can prescribe these. Yes, you would need to see a doctor or you would need to see a mental health professional who works with a physician who prescribes for them. Some apn's /pa's prescribe without seeing a doctor.
