Many options: Gabapentin (neurontin) and Pregabalin (lyrica) are appropriate, but there are many others, including cymbalta, (duloxetine) Amitriptyline (elavil), topical capsaicin (zostrix), Lidocaine patches (lidoderm), Carbamazepine (tegretol), and even b vitamin supplements, and others. A neurologist, physiatrist, or pain specialist can help select the right drug or drug combination for you.
