Loss of smell: Greetings. Yes, you need to see an ENT doctor. An endoscopic examination is in order as well as possibly some radio graphic studies depending on what your doctor finds. Nasal/sinus polyps could be present causing this blockage. Your Spring time sinus infection could have possibly been viral and caused an infiltrate into the nerve membranes of the olfactory or smell organs leading to damage.
