Could be adhesions: It is always a possibili when surgery has been done. If you are still having some issues, your should see your physician. There are other causes of pain, especially in the lower left part of the abdomen.

LLQ Pain: You raise two good possibilities for your pain. Unfortunately no one will be able to confirm, rule-out, or find alternatives without an exam. As you only have the left ovary, you will always ovulate from that side so a cyst isn’t inherently abnormal.
