Yes: After laparoscopic cystectomy, your ovary should look as it did before the cyst... BUT it depends on the type and the size of the cyst. Sometimes your ovary will be smaller but will be just as functional.

Yes: The ovary resumes it's normal function after surgery and it heals with little evidence that it has been disturbed by the surgery.
