Concerned parent: You're being a loving, caring, concerned parent. [i'd use bubblewrap myself; then he can have fun popping the bubbles :-)] unless your concerns are preventing restful sleep or causing ulcers or panic attacks, i shouldn't worry. Being a good parent is full of worries such as those you described & more. Be concerned but not overly protective. See comment.
