Probably not: Probably not but i would not recommend a night guard for a child under 16 years old because their jaws are supposed to expand and widen out their faces. If your child is grinding his teeth at night, he might have an airway/breathing problem. Have his pediatrician evaluate his nasal passages to make sure adequate air exchange is occurring.

Night guard: There is no reason a 6 year old child should be using a nightguard. If your child is having a problem that you think warrants a night guard, please talk to the child's dentist.
