Foods: Plenty of options as long as you spend the time learning about whole foods. You have fresh fruits and vegetables, grains, legumes, soy to name a few.

Fruits/vegetables: Several healthy alternatives are available including fruits, vegetables, and some meats that are lower in fat, such as turkey, chicken, and fish. Red meat in moderate amounts is ok as well. Avoiding processed foods is always a plus. Nuts can make good snack food as well. They have "healthy fat" in them.
