Yes, the only way: This is a very significant burn and the patient's only hope of survival is with skin grafting. A burn of this size must be treated in a regional burn center for the patient to have any chance to survive. Besides the skin, attention must be paid to nutrition, infection control, lung status, therapy, and the patient's psychological and social well-being. This is a challenging situation.
