A member asked:

What is involved in being an anesthesiologist?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: After graduating high school, 4 years of college towards a bachelor's degree, 4 years of medical school, one year internship, 3 years anesthesiology residency. That's for general anesthesiology. If specialized anesthesiology like pain medicine or cardiac anesthesia is desired, that's additional years of training.
