Care during surgery: Anesthesiologists are physicians who care for patients during surgery and other procedures. This involves selecting the best meds for anesthesia for each patient, and treating any other medical problems such as diseases of the heart, lungs, diabetes, high blood pressure etc. It can be very challenging with long days in the operating room and emergency call, but very satisfying too! i love my work.
