A member asked:

When traveling through the heart and blood vessels where is the blood low in oxygen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Circulation: Blood releases o2 to the tissues and becomes poor in oxygen to travel up to the lungs to capture it in the vessels there. Then it returns to the heart that pumps oxygenated blood to the tissues to be released there and return to the lungs again to get oxygenated.
