High: Bulging discs are typical in the aging spine and often start showing up in patients in their thirties. By the time people reach 40 years old the majority will have some bulging discs. If you do and MRI of your lumbar spine you will probably have more bulging discs there.

Pretty good: Disc bulges are seen in a lot of people and increase in incidence with age but are normal findings not leading to any problems.
