Have her consult a specialist at the department of opthalmology at a university hospital who may offer to surgically remove her vitreous gel to cure her of troublesome floaters. Improper laser treatment can damage the retina.

A vitrectomy can be performed by a retinal specialist to remove floaters. It is in general a safe procedure - but like all procedures- there are risks. The most concerting risk is a retinal detachment. Thankfully - the success rate is high. Please consult with your own doctor to learn more about the risks vs benefits of this procedure
